How easy is information technology to "set up" a clogged corsair AIO (H100i GTX)

Seems that my H100i GTX has a clog in it. It'south no longer giving me decent cooling (CPU overheat in <30 seconds with anything that really uses all vi cores), and testing shows that the temperature of 1 of the hoses stays exactly the same idle vs load while the temperature of the other hose climbs almost 10C and rather quickly (measuring the outside of the hoses using an IR temperature gun). Corsair support says the radiator can only remove 1-2C in ane pass so in that location should not be a huge temperature difference between the hoses, and that this problem is a "known issue" with this model.

So I assume it would be a matter of taking it apart, draining it, cleaning it, putting in new liquid, or similar. I'm just curious if anyone here has actually done this with a clogged Corsair AIO, every bit I've heard they are not particularly easy to detach (considering they aren't meant to exist taken apart by the end-user). Is it more often than not fifty-fifty worth the attempt to effort and salvage?

Usually when this happens its a sign of a dead pump.
Its possible to splice in a new pump to reuse the aio but its not done very often due to cost. Nearly quality pump/res combos cost as much as or more a new aio. If you decide to reuse the aio in that location are guides as to how virtually pump heads come apart.

Are y'all monitoring pump RPM? (you lot can do this) I'd bank check that earlier endeavoring to disassemble information technology.

pretty easy. ive washed two, a h60 and a h75, same shit just one is round ane is square. cut the old hose off, cleaned the rad and pump, re-hosed and refilled with af/h2o mix. both still working and both are 6-viii years one-time. both had clogged hose barbs, the h75 had clogs in the cold fins too.

The pump all the same reports ~3060rpm in Performance manner and ~1900rpm in Serenity way, which is consistent with what information technology has always reported. The minor amount of cooling that the AIO is even so able to provide, despite the clog, as well does still vary between Performance and Quiet mode. Those things lead me to believe that the pump is still working.

The pump yet reports ~3060rpm in Performance fashion and ~1900rpm in Repose mode, which is consistent with what it has always reported. The modest amount of cooling that the AIO is notwithstanding able to provide too does however vary betwixt Functioning and Tranquility mode. Those things lead me to believe that the pump is yet working.
sounds like information technology is. I bet youll discover a clog like my two...
